Rhodium plating
Rhodium (Rh) belongs to the platinum group metals. The properties of rhodium plating are high melting point, excellent corrosion resistance, hardness and abrasion resistance. Rhodium also has good IR reflectivity and catalytic properties.
Rhodinization is suitable for objects exposed to extreme conditions, such as corrosive gases and liquids.
Rhodium is also used as a protective coating for silver jewelery and objects because it is very close in color to silver.

- Coating hardness is 900 HP
- Typically, coating thicknesses range from 0.1 to 2 μm
